Our regular telephone support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Support is available to customers who have purchased a license, and who are current on maintenance.
After hours support is available but must be pre-arranged by email to support@taatool.com. After hours support is charged at the rate of $250/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
If you cannot reach support and need a new license you can use CRTGRCKEY to generate a seven day temporary license. This command can only be used once until it is reset by DLTGRCKEY or by CHGTAAKEY. Contact us for a full key during this seven day period.
We do not support the TAATOOL library generated by QUSRTOOL. This is supplied by IBM, as is.
TAA Productivity Tools are supported for the following IBM i releases:
- 7.6 - V7R6M0
- 7.5 - V7R5M0
- 7.4 - V7R4M0
- 7.3 - V7R3M0
Note that IBM has ended support for IBM i versions 6.1, 7.1, and 7.2. The October 15, 2015 refresh of the tools is the last one for 6.1, the April 15, 2018 refresh is the last for 7.1. the May 15, 2021 refresh is the last for 7.2.
