DSPUSAHST DISPLAY USA HISTORY TAADSPP |
The Display USA History command displays information about the
history of the USA by year. This includes notable events such as
Presidential elections, significant battles, and other information.
Some major events outside of the US are also included.
A typical command would be:
DSPUSAHST
The information would be displayed by year and rollup may be used.
You may also request a specific year to begin the display such as:
DSPUSAHST YEAR(1700)
If the year does not have any significant events, the first year
after 1700 with a significant event would be displayed. The same
page of events as used if *ALL was specified for the year will be
displayed (not necessarily at the top of the display).
DSPUSAHST escape messages you can monitor for

None. Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.
Command parameters *CMD
------------------
YEAR The year to begin the display. If the year does not
exist, the first year after the year entered will be
displayed.

DSPTXT Display text
SNDESCINF Send escape information
SNDESCMSG Send escape message
