DSPSYSVALA DISPLAY SYSTEM VALUE ATTRIBUTES TAASYSZ |
The Display System Value Attributes command provides a more
convenient manner of determining the attributes of a system value for
RTVSYSVAL than the RTVSYSVAL help text. A simple display appears
with the attributes and the group that the system value exists in.
A typical command would be:
DSPSYSVALA SYSVAL(QDATE)
DSPSYSVALA escape messages you can monitor for

TAA9891 The system value does not exist.
Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.
Command parameters *CMD

SYSVAL The name of the system value to display the
attributes for.

The following TAA Tools must be on your system:
EDTVAR Edit variable
RTVSYSVALA Retrieve system value attributes
SNDESCMSG Send escape message
