The  Display Member  List  command is  intended  for multi-member  data
files.   One, generic,  or all  files in  a library may  be listed.   A
heading  line is printed for  each file.  One  line is printed for each
member in the  file with  information such as  the create, change,  and
last used dates, number of records, etc.

DSPMBRLST may  be used  against any  data base file.   A  better choice
for source files is the PRTSRCSUM tool.

A typical command would be:

            DSPMBRLST     FILE(xxx)

All  members of the  file would be  listed.  If the  command is entered
interactively,  the  spooled  file   listing  is  displayed  and   then
deleted.

Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   FILE          The qualified  name of the file  with the members.   A
                 single  file,  a generic  file, or  the  special value
                 *ALL may be used.

                 A library value  must be  specified.   *CURLIB may  be
                 used.

   FILETYPE      The file  type to be  used.  The  default is *ALL  for
                 all data base types.

                 *PF may entered to list only physical files.

                 *LF may entered to list only logical files.

   DATATYPE      The data  type to be  used.  The default  is *DATA for
                 data files.

                 *SRC may be specified to list only source files.

                 *ALL  may be  specified to  list both  data and source
                 files.

   OUTPUT        How to  output  the  results.   *  is the  default  to
                 display  the spooled  file if  the command  is entered
                 interactively.   The spooled file  is deleted after it
                 is displayed.

                 If the  command  is  entered  in batch  or  *PRINT  is
                 specified, the  spooled file  is output  and retained.
