DSPACTJOB2 DISPLAY ACTIVE JOBS 2 TAAJOCN |
TAA Tools provides two commands to compliment the capabilities of the
system WRKACTJOB command:
DSPACTJOB provides a listing similar to WRKACTJOB, but the user
cannot perform change actions against the jobs and no CPU utilization
information is provided.
DSPACTJOB2 enhances DSPACTJOB by additionally providing CPU
utilization information, allowing the user to determine which jobs
are using the most system resources.
DSPACTJOB2 may be helpful if you have a menu oriented system and want
to prevent users from changing, holding, or ending active jobs, but
still allow users to determine what users should be notified to end
large, cycling jobs.
No command line exists.
A typical command would be:
DSPACTJOB2
The display that appears is similar to that provided by WRKACTJOB,
but only allows the option to display job details and to refresh or
restart statistics for better analysis of CPU utilization.
System and subsystem monitor jobs are automatically excluded.
The display is sorted by CPU% to easily allow easy analysis of
resource intensive jobs.
Refresh (F5) - Displays updated information. CPU% is calculated for
the time span between when the screen was first displayed to when
Refresh was selected.
Restart (F10) - Resets the display to current statistics without any
time interval factored in (as with Refresh).
