The Compress Deleted Records command moves all active records to the front of a
data base file member by re-using the deleted record space. At the end of the
command, all the deleted records will be at the back end of the file. The
companion tool is TRNDLTRCD to move the 'end of data' marker after the last
active record and reclaim space for the system.
