VRYCFGOFF VARY CONFIGURATION OFF TAACFGG |
The Vary Configuration Off command provides a simple version of the
VRYCFG command to vary off a device. The user must be authorized to
the TAAVRYCFGO authorization list. The system VRYCFG command
requires the user to have *JOBCTL special authority. The intent of
VRYCFGOFF is to provide a solution without authorizing a user to
*JOBCTL and may be used as an option on the SECOFR2 menu.
A typical command would be:
VRYCFGOFF CFGOBJ(xxx) CFGTYPE(*DEV)
Not all of the function of the system VRYCFG command is supported.
Command parameters *CMD
------------------
CFGOBJ The configuration object to be varied off.
CFGTYPE The configuration type. Only special values are
supported such as *DEV. For a full list, prompt for
the command.
Restrictions
------------
The user must be authorized to the TAAVRYCFGO authorization list.
