The Vary  Configuration  2 command  provides a  simple  version of  the
VRYCFG  command.    The  user  must  be  authorized  to  the  TAAVRYCFG
authorization  list.   The system VRYCFG  command requires  the user to
have *JOBCTL special  authority.  The intent  of VRYCFG2 is to  provide
a solution without  authorizing a user to *JOBCTL.   VRYCFG2 is used as
an option on the SECOFR2 menu.

A typical command would be:

             VRYCFG      CFGOBJ(xxx) CFGTYPE(*DEV) STATUS(*ON)

Not all of the function of the system VRYCFG command is supported.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   CFGOBJ        The configuration object to be varied.

   CFGTYPE       The  configuration  type.    Only  special  values are
                 supported such as *DEV.   For a full list, prompt  for
                 the command.

   STATUS        The  status the  object  should be  varied  to.   Only
                 special  values are  supported such  as *ON  and *OFF.
                 For a full list, prompt for the command.

Restrictions

The user must be authorized to the TAAVRYCFG authorization list.
