DSPTOOLCMD DISPLAY TOOL COMMANDS TAATOLP |
The Display Tool Commands tool allows the entry of a tool name to
present a display of the commands that make up the tool.
A typical command would be entered as:
DSPTOOLCMD TOOL(MSGCTL)
A subfile display would be shown with one entry for any command that
is part of the tool.
Options exists to:
** Prompt for the command
** Display the source information about the command
The F6 function key may be used to display the tool documentation.
If the tool does not have any commands, the display appears with only
F6 valid to be used.
If the tool name given is not a tool but a command name, the tool
name is determined and the display appears as if the tool name had
been entered. For example, if the command is entered as:
DSPTOOLCMD TOOL(STRMSGCTL)
the name given is not a tool, but it is a TAA command name. In this
case the tool name (MSGCTL) is determined and the same display
appears as if the command had been entered as TOOL(MSGCTL).
