The Convert Image  Catalog command converts  the image catalogs  to the
IMGCLGP outfile  in a named library.  Either  optical, virtual tape, or
all  image catalogs  may be  converted.   The QVOIRCLG  API is  used to
retrieve the  entries.   The model outfile  is TAACLGBP  with a  format
name of IMGCLGR.

Specifying  *OPTICAL  provides  basic   information  about  an  optical
catalog.    A  different tool  (CVTIMGCLG2)  will  provide  more detail
information.

A typical command would be:

             CVTIMGCLG      OUTLIB(QTEMP)

All image  catalogs  would be  converted  to  the IMGCLGEP  outfile  in
QTEMP.  A type of *OPTICAL or *VRTTAP may be requested.

If an  image catalog  for a virtual  tape is not  in a  'ready' status,
the CLVRTD  (Virtual device) and CLVRTS  (Virtual device status) output
fields will be blank.

CVTIMGCLGE escape messages you can monitor for

Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   IMGTYPE       The image catalog type.

                 *ALL is the default for all types.

                 *OPTICAL  may  be  specified  for  all  optical  image
                 catalogs.

                 *VRTTAP may  be specified for  all virtual  tape image
                 catalogs.

   OUTLIB        The  library  in   which  the  IMGCLGP  file  will  be
                 placed.   The default  is *LIBL.   If the IMGCLGP file
                 does not already  exist, a library must  be specified.

   OUTMBR        The member  of the  IMGCLGP file to  be used.   If the
                 member  does not exist,  it is added.   The default is
                 IMGCLGP.

   REPLACE       A *YES/*NO  value for  whether  the member  should  be
                 cleared before writing  records into it.   The default
                 is *YES.

                 *NO  may  be  specified  to  add  records to  existing
                 data.
