The  Work  Validation  Lists  command  provides   a  work  display  for
Validation  List (*VLDL)  objects.   From the  display, you  may create
and  delete validation  lists and  access the  TAA WRKVLDLE  display to
work with individual entries for a specific validation list.

A typical command would be:

             WRKVLDL     VLDL(*ALL)

Because the qualified  name defaults to  *USRLIBL, all validation  list
objects in  the user  portion of the  library list would  be displayed.
Various options could then be used for a specific validation list.

*USRLIBL  is used as the  default because the  system has *VLDL objects
in QUSRSYS  that should  not be  modified unless  you  have a  specific
need.

Security considerations
-----------------------

The system shipped  default for CVTVLDLE is AUT(*EXCLUDE).   This means
that  a user  other than  the  owner (or  an *ALLOBJ  special authority
user) must be  authorized to at  least *USE authority  to use  WRKVLDL.
If no *VLDL  objects are authorized to  the user when WRKVLDL  is used,
the  system sends  the  CPF2124 message  (No specified  objects  can be
displayed).

To  perform an  option such as  4=Delete, the user  must have authority
to delete the validation list.

WRKVLDL escape messages you can monitor for
-------------------------------------------

None.  Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   VLDL          The qualified  name of  the validation  list entry  to
                 be displayed.   A single name, a generic  name, or the
                 special value *ALL may be entered.

                 The  library value defaults  to *USRLIBL.   A specific
                 library may be  entered or  one of  the other  special
                 values *USRLIBL, *CURLIB, *ALL, or *ALLUSR.
