The Rename Message Description  command allows you to rename  a message
description within the same message file.

A typical command would be entered as:

        RNMMSGD    MSGID(USR1001) MSGF(xxx) TOMSGID(USR1002)

The TOMSGID must not already exist.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   MSGID         The message ID to be renamed.

   MSGF          The  qualified file  name of  the  message file.   The
                 library  value defaults  to *LIBL.   *CURLIB  may also
                 be specified.

   NEWMSGID      The new message ID to be assigned.

Restrictions
------------

None.

Prerequisites
-------------

The following TAA Tools must be on your system:

     DUPMSGD      Duplicate message description
     SNDCOMPMSG   Send completion message
